We offer a service of sending notifications to your Wii when games are shipped or released, including Virtual Console games.

To sign up, all you need to do is add news@wiisels.com to your Wii Address Book, and we will do the rest. If you are not sure how to do this, follow these steps:

  • From the Wii main menu, select the Wii Message Board icon.
  • From the Message Board, select the Create Message icon.
  • Select the Address Book icon.
  • Select the Register button.
  • Select the Others icon.
  • Click the box on the screen that says "Enter an address".
  • Use the on-screen keyboard to type in news@wiisels.com and then select the OK button.
  • Select the OK button to confirm our email address.
  • Click the box on the screen that says "Apply nickname".
  • Use the on-screen keyboard to type in Wiisels and then select the OK button.
  • Select the OK button to confirm our nickname.
  • Select the OK button on the screen that says "Add a Mii".
  • On the final confirmation screen, select the OK button.
  • You will be notified that our address has been registered. Select the final OK button and you're done!

    Please note that we confirm each registration by hand, so if you register in the middle of the night, or at a time when we are away from our computers, then you won't receive the confirmation message immediately. But rest assured, we have received your registration request, and we'll put you on our list before long!

    Privacy Policy: We will not spam you with messages. We will never email you requesting money (we would love a donation, but you're under no obligation). The only messages we send out are the confirmation of your subscription and game release notifications (one email per game, and one digest email for Virtual Console releases). We will not share or sell your Wii address with anyone (that'd be pointless, as nobody can send messages to your Wii unless you have them in your Wii Address Book first). We may also ask you to re-confirm your subscription simply with a blank reply as part of a semi-annual cleaning of the mailing list.
